Ahava
Ahava revisits the iconic designs of celebrated eras, infusing them with a fresh, new look. Be it a mid-century modern retro fabric or Baroque florals, her combinations of texture and pattern are at once historic and contemporary. With an education in graphic design and fine art, she delivers a keen understanding of geometric structure, together with the inspiration of a true artist. Whatever her choice of medium, Ahava favors a palette of rich jewel tones, juxtaposed with neutrals, to create harmonic, restful balance. View Avaha's work.
Amori
Amori’s art is inspired by her passion for both historic and contemporary architecture. Intrigued by the architectural diversity of different countries and cultures from New York to India, Johannesburg to Japan, Amori captures the essence of famed cities through her minimal yet expressive style of art. A strong sense of calm and balance is displayed through geometric shapes, familiar architectural elements and warm textured tones - a contrast to the bustle and unrest of urban life. Marcel Venter
“Surrounded by a creative family, it was only natural for me to pursue a design career”
Marcel Venter formally entered the world of art during a stint in the Air Force of South Africa. Over the past twenty years Marcel enjoyed the opportunity to work with a diverse client base doing graphic, environmental and web design. Branching into Fine Arts was predictable, given the daily inspiration of his wife, Tandi Venter, an accomplished artist. In his contemporary collages, Marcel’s design roots show themselves plainly through an orderly treatment of elements. Layers of texture, vivid color and the sporadic showing of text. He is inspired by architecture, fast machines, furniture, food . . . and, of course, good coffee. With his wife and two sons, Marcel moved to the United States in 2001, making The Rocky Mountains his home and studio. View Marcel's work.
Marcus Collins
Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Marcus Collins began early in his life sketching images in his scrapbook of how he saw the people, places and things of Vancouver. As the only male of four children, Marcus was influenced by his sisters on the designs, trends and colors on each image he created. He spent many hours lying on grassy park fields admiring the environment around him and especially intrigued by simple architectural structures found in the city. His styleis at once playful and sophiticated incorporating stylized line work with a neutral palette. View Marcus' work.
